Love this place. The little restaurant has such a home atmosphere. The mozzarella balls with marinara are out of this world. I had a salami sandwich which we paired with a Moscato wine that was perfect for a nice lunch with a friend. Highly recommend Sam's!😊

Never disappointed when I come to Sam’s. As I was looking for a sandwich on this day I noticed that they had pizzas. I came with colleagues and they too didn’t realize they had pizzas. I ordered the Pinsa Salume Pizza. It is an Artisan Roman-style pizza with pepperoni, sopressata, mortadella, mozzarella finished with hot honey. It was very good, good enough that I would come back and order it again. I would recommend it to others also. We sat outside in their outside seating. It was a great little area and no one was out there even. Give the pizza a shot, you might find it just as desirable as the sandwiches.

Sam’s has legacy following in Fresno. My husband and I had lunch in the cafe. It was his first time ever eating at Sam’s! He had The Big Baller meatball sandwich and I had butternut squash ravioli. We had an appetizer and desert. Service was the service was warm and welcoming. The food was worth the wait. After lunch we walked through the store and deli. We bought a gift card for a friend. The lines were short today.

If you don’t love a good delicatessen and market, I don’t think we can be friends. Sam’s Italian Deli and Market is one of the finest in the country. There’s a reason for that too. The meat counter is the main draw where you’re immediately drawn in to belly up and get an order placed. Go ahead, check out all the shelves stocked with imported dry goods and the prepared food selections or go get a generous, hot lunch or a freshly prepared sandwich. Did I mention deli salads and antipasto? The atmosphere of gratitude that you are there, enjoying all the wonderful things that they have to offer overflows from the employees. I even found my favorite Peruvian Pepper Jam. So, thank you Sam and family for continuing an Italian tradition of extraordinary food and great service. Highly recommended

Wow! This place is great! Such a great atmosphere! The staff are so friendly and helpful! This place is so busy, but the staff are so organized that you will be in and out in no time. The market is a cool place to browse while you're waiting for your sandwiches. They have everything you need for your authentic Italian style meals. Their menu is extensive,with a little something for everyone's taste. The sandwiches are well made with good quality ingredients and are very delicious. So if you're in the Fresno area and you want an authentic Italian delhi sandwich, this is your place! We definitely can't wait for our next trip through this area to try something new from their menu.
